• Russcher to Join the Faculty

Landscape Architect Karen Russcher, RLA, ASLA will be co-teaching a topic studio at UNCC's Center City Building with Professor David Walters this spring.  Karen received her Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky and her Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University, where she studied under Martha Schwartz among others.  She was Principal at LandDesign up until 2002 before moving to the Bay Area in California to work as Senior Landscape Architect and Director of Design at several Landscape Architecture firms.  She has very recently returned to North Carolina and has started her own practice, KLRdesign, here in Charlotte.  Karen will be working with architecture students addressing contemporary landscape theory and design.
