Graduate Programs Auto Admit for SoA Students

Auto Admit Requirements for the Masters of Architecture II (MArch II) Program

Students who complete professional track of the four-year Bachelor of Arts in Architecture Degree Program (including 4th year studios) at UNC Charlotte and meet the following criteria will be awarded automatic admission to the Master of Architecture II Degree Program:

  1. Students must complete their undergraduate degree with a 3.25 grade point average in Architecture.

  2. Students must complete their undergraduate degree with a 3.0 grade point average overall.

  3. Students must fulfill the University's Graduate School application requirements, which includes the online application and submission of GRE scores.

UNC Charlotte students who do not meet these grade point average requirements may submit a full application for admission to the UNC Charlotte Office of Graduate Admissions for consideration.

Additional Auto Admit Requirements for the Masters of Urban Design Program

Students who complete professional track of the four-year Bachelor of Arts in Architecture Degree Program (including 4th year studios) at UNC Charlotte and meet the following criteria above are also awarded automatic admission to the Master of Urban Design Degree Program as long as they also submit a Statement of Purpose describing their objectives relative to graduate study.
