More information can be found on the Visualizing the Smarter City website. If you are interesting in attending, please contact Master of Urban Design Program Director Zhongjie Lin for information about registering and waiving the registration fee.
AIAS Sketch Auction
On Friday evening after the Open House, our UNC Charlotte chapter of the American Institute of Architects Students (AIAS) is hosting a Sketch Auction from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Storrs Salon. This new event should provide an exciting opportunity to get immersed in the culture of the SoA and meet more students and faculty informally. More information about the event can be found at the Sketch Auction website.
Park in the gravel lot across Brevard Street from the CCB. Avoid the reserved places. A temporary parking pass will be emailed to you after you register. Print this pass and display it clearly on your windshield.
Park in the Visitor’s Lot in the East Deck. Take a visitor’s ticket on your way into the garage. While at the open house you will be given another ticket you can use to exit the garage free of charge.
