Laboratory for Innovative Housing

The Laboratory for Innovative Housing is part of the Center for Integrated Building Design Research (CIBDR) that is housed in the College of Arts & Architecture and the IDEAS (Infrastructure, Design, Environment and Sustainability) Center that is housed in the Lee College of Engineering. The lab is a venue for students and professors from architecture and engineering to collaborate on multidisciplinary research and teaching. It is located in Cameron Hall on the University of North Carolina Charlotte campus.

Mission

The mission of the Laboratory for Innovative Housing is to advance, through research and teaching, the development of housing that enriches society, sustains the environment and meets economic needs.
