Faculty & Friends Concert: Mira Frisch, Anna Cromwell, and Lisa Nelson

The Department of Music presents a Friends & Faculty Concert featuring Mira Frisch, Anna Cromwell, and Lisa Nelson. The performance will feature string trios by women composers.

Frisch, an Associate Professor of Cello at UNC Charlotte, has performed across the United States and in Bermuda, Italy, and France. She has also performed as a guest principal cellist with the Charleston Symphony, as a section cellist with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, and with the Madison Park String Quartet.

Cromwell, Associate Professor of Violin and Viola at Eastern Illinois University, has performed with Dr. Frisch for multiple albums as a member of Duo XXI. 

Nelson is Visiting Assistant Professor of Viola, Violin, and String Pedagogy at Illinois Wesleyan Unversity. She is a member of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and is on faculty of the International Chamber Music Academy in Kyustendil, Bulgaria for young talented musicians.

Tickets are $10; $8 for UNC Charlotte faculty, staff, and alumni and students. College of Arts + Architecture majors receive a complimentary ticket with the 49erArtsLink program.
