Eric Höweler is a founding principal of Höweler + Yoon Architecture (HYA). HYA is a multidisciplinary practice working between architecture, art and media. Their multi-disciplinary projects include architecture, interactive environments, interiors, installations, furniture, concept clothing, and artist books.
Höweler received a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Cornell University. He is currently an assistant professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Prior to forming Höweler + Yoon Architecture, he was a Senior Designer at Diller + Scofidio, where he worked on the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston and the Juilliard School/ Lincoln Center in New York. His work has been included in exhibitions at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
His lecture is titled "UX Architecture." This event is free and open to the public.
