Give a little general information about yourself: how did you become interested in the arts/design?

My Dad is an architect so growing up I saw what he did and would work for him in the summer and eventually was convinced this was the field I needed to be in.

Why did you apply to the Arts + Architecture Honors Program?

I thought it would be an interesting opportunity to connect with other aspects of design and have access to students and faculty that could better my understanding of art and design.

What kind of career do you hope to have?

I hope that one day I can become a licensed architect designing post-modern commercial spaces.

What is your favorite thing about the School of Architecture?

I love the sense of community created by the School of Architecture. Everyone comes together to discuss projects and figure out new methods of creating and I think it’s an incredible system to be apart of.

Do you participate in any community cultural activities or work in the Charlotte arts or design community?

I’m a member of American Institute of Architecture Students.

When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?

I play club volleyball and other intermural sports.
