How did you become interested in the arts/design?
There really isn’t a defining moment; it’s been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember.

What kind of career do you hope to have?
Art Therapist/Mental Health Counselor

What is your favorite thing about the College of Arts + Architecture?
The energy, the people, and how hard the CoA+A students work on their craft. Being surrounded by creative people and taught by instructors who love what they do inspires me. I’m excited to be involved with the Bridge Organization which helps to inform and connect all the disciplines within the CoA+A while helping to build community on campus.

Do you participate in any community cultural activities or work in the Charlotte arts or design community?
I will be starting an internship with the Arts for Life Organization at Levine Children’s Hospital this fall and am looking forward to gaining some hands-on experience in my field.

When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?
Spending time with my boys, traveling, reading, cooking and volunteering at the barn so I can hang out with the horses. It’s the best therapy!
