Nicholas Ault holds an M.Arch. from UNC Charlotte and a B.S. in Technology from Bowling Green State University. His research focuses on materiality, fabrication and digital methodologies as well as in the realm of architectural education. Nicholas has previously taught at UNC-Charlotte and Clemson University where he spent a year running the school’s study abroad program in Genoa, Italy. In addition to teaching the Computational Practices course in Fall 2015 and the First Year Undergraduate design, where he functions as coordinator, he works as an Architectural Designer at Perkins+Will in Charlotte.
