What do you do to be creative? I love cooking and gardening. During my younger years, I played the violin, the marimba, and bells. I was also the co-founder of the first step team (the kind of stepping sororities/fraternities do) at Hofstra University.
What’s an arts event that you’ve been to or seen recently that you enjoyed? In the Heights Movie! It really depicts the heart of what home was for me growing up, and I saw the show three times on Broadway before moving to Charlotte!
Do you participate in any community cultural activities? I love going to see CoA+A shows and performances on campus.
What is your favorite thing about UNC Charlotte or The College of Arts + Architecture? My favorite thing about CoA+A is that it has a small college/family feel on a big campus. It keeps me connected to my passion for the arts and the creative energies at CoA+A keep things exciting all the time! I'm fortunate enough that my role has a broad reach at the college which allows me to interact with the majority of the college; students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
What do you like to do for fun? I'm kinda nerdy, I read books for personal growth, go to the beach, hiking, and traveling.
