The Department of Music presents a Faculty & Friends Concert featuring tenor Jeffrey Price and pianist Matthew Manwarren. Dr. Price is Professor Emeritus of Music at UNC Charlotte; Dr. Manwarren is Professor of Music at Winthrop University. The program will feature Robert Schumann's Dichterliebe and Gabriel Faure's La Bonne Chanson.
Dr. Royce Lumpkin, former chair of the music department, will be honored at the concert and at a reception following. Dr. Lumpkin will retire from UNC Charlotte in December.
Tickets are $10; $8 for UNC Charlotte faculty, staff, and alumni and students. College of Arts + Architecture majors receive a complimentary ticket with the 49erArtsLink program.
