Faculty & Friends Concert: Jessica Lindsey and Christian Bohnenstengel

The Department of Music presents a Faculty & Friends Concert featuring Assistant Professor of Clarinet Jessica Lindsey and guest pianist Christian Bohnenstengel. The performance will feature clarinet music by female composers and celebrates the release of their new CD, Set No Limits: Music by Women Composers for Clarinet and Piano. 

Dr. Lindsey has performed with the Fairbanks Symphony, Opera Fairbanks, ProMusica Colorado, the Lincoln Symphony, the Omaha Symphony, the Nebraska Chamber Orchestra, and the New Music Agency.

Dr. Bohnenstengel was recently featured as soloist and conductor in Mozart's Concerto in F Major for Three Pianos, as pianist in the musical Chicago, and as arranger and continuo player in a concert version of Jean-Baptiste Lully's PhaĆ«ton. He teaches at Southern Utah University.

Tickets are $10; $8 for UNC Charlotte faculty, staff, and alumni and students. College of Arts + Architecture majors receive a complimentary ticket with the 49erArtsLink program.
