Charles Renfro joined the husband-and-wife team of Liz Diller and Ricardo Scofidio in 1997, becoming a partner in 2004, presiding over numerous influential projects, including the High Line, Broad Museum and Lincoln Center. Renfro is the Distinguished Visiting Critic for CriticalMASS 2019. Each spring, the School of Architecture hosts the graduate research symposium CriticalMASS, a series of presentations and discussions by selected graduate students from muiltiple schools. Established in 2002, the event continues to inspire students to reach across institutional boundaries and come together with shared interests.
