Presented in conjunction with the December 3 performance of Defiant Requiem: Verdi at Terezin, MASS APPEAL, 1943 is a staged reading of a script by Defiant Requiem creator Murry Sidlin that tells the story of how conductor Rafael Schächter defended performing Verdi's Requiem in the Terezín ghetto. Associate Professor of Theatre Education Beth Murray directs. This event is FREE.
