The Department of Music presents the UNC Charlotte Orchestra in its third annual Symphony of Diversity, featuring special guests from the City Youth Orchestra of Kolkata (Calcutta), India. The "Transoceanic Orchestra Jam" program includes music by American composer Amy Beach, Spanish composer Manuel de Falla, and the world premiere of the orchestral arrangement of a song by Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore.
