The School of Architecture presents a public lecture by Theo Deutinger, followed by a Q&A.
Architect, writer and designer of cultural studies, Theo Deutinger is founder and head of TD, an office based in Austria and The Netherlands that combines architecture with research, visualization and conceptual thinking. The scale of the work ranges from global planning and urban master plans to architecture to graphic and journalistic work. Deutinger created ‘Snapshots of Globalization’ – multilayered illustrations and maps that represent the world in this particular moment. He is also the author of Handbook of Tyranny, which won the FILAF Architecture Book Award in 2018, and his work is frequently published in various magazines such as Mark, Wired and Domus.
