The brass faculty of the Department of Music present the 2019 UNC Charlotte Brass Day. The day is a comprehensive experience that aims to excite students about elevating their own brass playing and expose them to a wide variety of live performances and masterclasses. While the event is geared toward high school students, brass players and enthusiasts of all ages are encouraged to attend.
The day will feature masterclasses and recitals with both UNC Charlotte faculty and our guest artists, the USAF Rhythm in Blue Jazz Ensemble. In addition, numerous vendors will be present for students to try instruments, mouthpieces, mutes, and more. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in mass ensembles alongside UNC Charlotte music students.
