The Departmment of Music offers a Graduate Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy. The Graduate Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy is designed to provide the advanced student with a concentrated program focusing on the methodology and practice of teaching voice. The curriculum consists of 17 hours of graduate level work that can be completed in two semesters over one academic year. The course of study includes private lessons, masterclasses, internships teaching in one-on-one and/or group situations, and a graduate pedagogy sequence culminating in a directed project.
