Sunday, December 3, 2017

Assistant Professor of Acting Kaja Dunn appeared as a guest on the radio program Up Close and Cultural on October 31 and November 7 for a two-part conversation about representations of women and women of color in theatre. Hosted by Rachel DeGuzman, Up Close and Cultural, is broadcast on WAYO 104.3 FM from Rochester, New York.

On October 31, Dunn was joined by Professor Mark Allen Davis from San Francisco State University. On November 7 she was joined by writer/activist Reenah Golden. The conversations were inspired by recent controversy around Thomas and Sally, a play by Thomas Bradshaw that premiered at the Marin Theatre Company in California this fall and depicts the relationship between Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings.
