A group of architecture alumni have founded a new scholarship endowment for the College of Arts + Architecture in honor of the CoA+A founding dean, Ken Lambla. The 14 alumni were joined by CoA+A Senior Associate Dean (Interim Dean) Lee Gray and Jim Williams of Little Diversified Architectural Consulting in raising $60,000 for the Ken Lambla Scholarship Endowment.

Beginning in 2021, the endowment will fund an annual scholarship for an architecture major who enrolls in at least one course in the visual or performing arts. The alumni who made the initial gifts are Terry Shook '76, Dennis Hall '76, Ashley Clark '05, Rob Johnson '77, Michael Dunning '92, Kevin Kennedy '96, Todd Williams '92, Chris Scorsone '93, Ryan Clark '04, Jeff Floyd '77, Kevin Kelley '87, Jeff Kenoff '92, Richard Alsop, Jr. '77, and Richard Alsop III '95.

A current crowdfund campaign seeks to build upon their gifts to bring the endowment to $100,000, which would then provide two annual scholarships. To support the fund, visit the UNC Charlotte crowdfunding page.
