Work by art alumna Carmen Neely (BFA, painting, 2012) was recently featured during Miami Art Week 2018. Neely, who is represented by Jane Lombard Gallery of New York City, participated in Untitled, Art, an international, curated art fair, December 5-9.

Originating with Art Basel Miami Beach, Miami Art Week now boasts dozens of art fairs with hundreds of galleries represented and some 100,000 visitors from across the globe. Last year, Neely showed work in Miami’s Prizm Art Fair.

Neely’s work is abstract and combines different materials – from paint to plastic to yarn to clay – and found objects, resulting in vibrant colors and richly layered textures. See examples here.
