The Department of Theatre has received the North Carolina Theatre Conference's 2018 University/College Award.
The North Carolina Theatre Conference (NCTC) is a service and advocacy organization that supports the theatre industry in North Carolina. Each year, the NCTC Board of Directors presents awards to companies, schools, and individuals that have exhibited leadership roles in their community, as well as artistic, professional, or educational excellence. NCTC began presenting awards in 1985, and this year is the first time UNC Charlotte has been recognized.
