At UNC Charlotte we believe that the arts are a vital part of every child’s education. In partnership with the Cato College of Education, the College of Arts + Architecture prepares future teachers in visual art, dance, music, and theatre.
The Department of Dance congratulates recent dance education graduates who are starting their first teaching jobs:
Megan Adams is the new dance teacher at Salisbury High School in Salisbury, NC.
Makayla Church is the new dance teacher at Flat Rock Middle School and East Henderson High School, both in Henderson County, NC.
Zaria Franklin is teaching at A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis, NC, her alma mater. With her appointment, A.L Brown now has two dance teachers!
Ashlen Graves has been appointed as a Teaching Assistant at East Gaston High School in Mt. Holly, NC.
