SoA Faculty Present at National and International Conferences

Faculty in the School of Architecture will present at several national and international conferences this fall:

Earlier in the summer, Associate Professor Zhongjie Lin, director of the Master of Urban Design program, presented the keynote address at the International Forum on Rural Development and Planning at Suzhou University of Science & Technology, China (June 2-3): "The Valley: Ideals of Urban-Rural Interaction in the 20th Century Planning.”  He also presented "The Tale of Two Utopias: Studies of Contemporary Asian Urbanism" in the School of Architecture at Soochow University in Suzhou, China (June 22), and "Vertical Urbanism: Re-conceptualizing the Compact City" and "A Comparison of Model Eco-cities in Japan and China: Case Studies of Kitakyushu and Tianjin" at the 2016 ACSA International Conference in Santiago, Chile (June 29-July 1).
