Chris Berry

Chris Berry is an actor, director, educator and producer from Long Island, NY. He received his BFA in Acting from North Carolina A&T and his MFA in acting from  Brown University/Trinity rep. He serves as the Vice President of the Executive Board of the Black Theatre Network and also serves as the Irene Ryan Scholarship Co-Coordinator for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region IV. He is the Co-Creator of We Are Soul Nerds, a multimedia production company dedicated to the production of new work and collaborations. 
Chris's acting credits include the web series Hampton 10-10 and and stage work at Playmakers Rep, Trinity Rep, The National Black Theatre, the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center's National Playwright's Conference, The Classical Theatre of Harlem, and Trinity Repertory Theatre (among others). Additionally, Chris maintains working relationships as a director and vocal coach with several professional regional and New York Theatre companies.  He is a proud member of Actors Equity Association. 
Chris previously served as an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Florida A&M University.
