Maja Godlewska, Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the Academy of Fine and Design Arts, Wroclaw, Poland.

Godlewska has been a recipient of numerous grants and fellowships, including Fulbright Fellowship, North Carolina Arts Council Fellowship Award, a several Charlotte Arts and Science Council grants, Kosciuszko Foundation Fellowship, several Faculty Research Grants from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte; she participated in artist-in-residence programs in South and North America, Europe, Africa and Asia; an Associate Professor of Art at the Department of Art and Art History, UNC Charlotte, NC, U.S.A.
