How did you become interested in music? Do you have a favorite composer?
The first time I played the recorder in elementary school, I asked my teacher what would be the next level instrument similar to the recorder, and she said the clarinet. I knew then that was what I was going to play. I started playing when I was 10 but didn't start studying with a private teacher until I was 14 or 15. My favorite composer would probably be Mozart.
What are your plans when you graduate? What kind of career do you hope to have?
I'd like to ultimately perform with cinema orchestras and make soundtracks.
What is your favorite thing about the College of Arts + Architecture?
My favorite thing is that there are ample amounts of opportunities here: opportunities to travel, compete, and to collaborate.
When you are not in class, studying, working or rehearsing, what do you like to do for fun?
When I am not in class, I like to hike, lift, and do pretty much anything outdoors!
