Computer Lab Software Request

Software Requested During the Academic Year

UNC Charlotte faculty and/or staff may request software for any of the computer classrooms managed by CoA+A IT. To request installation of new software, please read the guidelines below and submit a request via our helpdesk system:

  1. Verify that there isn't a comparable software already installed in that lab location.

  2. Read the installation guidelines.

  3. Auto generate a ticket for your request via email to coaahelpdesk@uncc.edu or logging into our HELPDESK SYSTEM with your Ninernet credentials.

 

Software installation requests are handled as they are received. Priority will be given to those requests that support academic programs.

NOTE: We have a seperate process for software requests for the upcoming academic school year that occurs in late Spring in preparation for the work to be completed over the summer. The department will reach out to individual tech representatives within each of the units for information.
