Rowe Recital Hall

The newly renovated Rowe Recital Hall is located in the Rowe Arts building, directly across from the Belk Tower, on the University's main campus. This season, the Department of Music Faculty & Friends Concert Series will take place in Rowe Recital Hall.  All concerts are at 7:30 pm, unless otherwise noted.

Monday, August 28: Voice faculty Alissa Deeter and Christina Pier (sopranos), Brian Arreola (tenor) and Carl DuPont (bass-baritone)

Tuesday, September 5: The Mirasol Saxophone Quartet

Monday, September 18: Cello professor Mira Frisch and guests Anna Cromwell, and Lisa Nelson perform string trios by women composers

Monday, October 16: This concert will take place in Belk Theater.  Professor Emeritus Jeffrey Price (tenor) and guest pianist Matthew Manwarren perform Robert Schumann's Dichterliebe, Gabriel Faure's La Bonne Chanson, and a set of musical theatre songs

Monday, January 22, 2018: Violist Kirsten Swanson

Sunday, January 28, 2018: This concert will take place in Belk Theater. The Department of Music welcomes the American Spiritual Ensemble

Monday, February 26, 2018: Clarinetist Jessica Lindsey and  guest pianist Christian Bohnenstengel perform music by women composers
