Educated Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Wroclaw, Poland (MFA Painting 1990); Tempus Mobility Grantee at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin (1991); painter, installation, performance and public art artist.

Recipient of numerous grants and awards, including Fulbright Fellowship, Kosciuszko Foundation Grant, NYC, NY, several Arts and Science Regional Artist Project Grants, North Carolina Arts Council Fellowship Award, numerous Faculty Research Grants from UNC Charlotte.

Participated in artist-in-residence programs in United States, France, Italy, Chile, South Korea, Iceland, Spain and Greenland. In 2001-2009 Guest Artist at the Andreas H. Bechtler Foundation in Mount Holly, NC.

Creative work presented during more than 90 group and solo exhibitions and events in United States, Poland, Greenland, Italy, Ukraine, France, Germany, South Korea, Czech Republic, Ireland and Chile, in museums, galleries and non-profit venues. Work held in private, state and corporate collections; in Charlotte, among others, in the Bechtler Collection and the Mint Museum. Represented in US Southeast by The New Gallery of Modern Art.
