We welcome your interest in studying architecture, urban design, and computational design at the School of Architecture (SoA) at the University of North Carolina – Charlotte. We are devoted to engaging students in an energetic study of how architecture and design affects - and stimulates - our daily lives.
The School of Architecture is recognized for the outstanding quality of our faculty and students, our commitment to outreach and community involvement, and the quality and extent of resources offered through our labs, studios, and classrooms – both at UNC Charlotte's main campus and The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City in Uptown Charlotte.
Advising: The SoA Academic Advisor is working remotely; advising appointments may be conducted by email, phone, and/or video chat, depending on instructions from Meredith Klauss. Please check your UNC Charlotte email frequently and follow instructions from your academic advisor. For more detailed information, see the CoA+A Advising page.
Guest Lecture Series
This year, the School was thrilled to bring a variety of guest lecturers into our virtual space. The focus of this year's lecture series is diversity and inclusion—an examination of culture and social justice that is both timely and timeless. Our lecturers include practitioners of color and others who work at the scale of urban planning, architecture, installation art, and graphic design. Their contributions to the profession are both provocative and uplifting. Watch them all on our Youtube playlist ⤵
