How did you first get interested in theatre and dance?
I started dancing at my moms dance company when I was 4 or 5 years, old and I began doing theatre in the 7th grade!

What kind of career do you hope to have?
I hope to have a career traveling and performing in various types of dance and theatre shows. I would also love to open my own studio where artists can train across disciplines and provide an arts education for those who have limited access to the tools necessary to be a successful artist.

What is your favorite thing about the theatre and dance departments?
My favorite thing about both the Theatre and Dance departments is how many opportunities there are to get involved in things on or off campus. I also love how varied the opportunities are. You get chances to play an integral part in all kinds of unique work.

Do you participate in any community activities or work in the Charlotte arts community?
I participate in many aspects of theatre on and off campus. Most recently I performed a staged reading of Angels in America with QC concerts. I was also an assistant teacher at Lumi School of Musical Theater and occasionally helped out with some productions. I am also a former member of the Baran Dance Understudy company and was a BD2 guest artist. I try to take any opportunity that would serve me and make me a better artist!

When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?
I love meeting new people and making friends. You will likely find me hanging out around campus, in the audience (or on stage) of local productions, or occasionally at a football game!
