Kelly A. Poquette, Ph.D. is a veteran educator with certifications from the American Orff-Schulwerk Association and the Feierabend Association for Music Education. She has received accolades at the district, regional, and state levels, including being named the 2021 Burroughs Wellcome Fund Piedmont-Triad Region Teacher of the Year. Over her career, she has taught all grades PreK-12 both virtually and in-person. She holds a B.A. from Wisconsin Lutheran College, an M.M. Ed. from VanderCook College of Music, and a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, all in Music Education.
