The College of Arts + Architecture co-presents an Art in Transit lecture, "UMBRA and Other Works," by Douglas Hollis.
Douglas Hollis collaborated with Anna Valentina Murch (1949-2014) to conceive the design for the LYNX Blue Line Extension signature station at 9th Street entitled UMBRA. To experience their station artwork, we recommend taking the LYNX Blue Line to 9th Street station, which is adjacent to UNC Charlotte Center City.
If you prefer to drive, FREE PARKING for this event will be at the Hal Marshall Annex Building at 618 N. College St, Charlotte, NC 28202. This has been graciously provided by Mecklenburg County.
