The College of Arts + Architecture and the Career Center present a Lunch & Learn conversation with painter and public artist Sharon Dowell, an alumna of the Department of Art & Art History.
Since receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNC Charlotte in 2002, Sharon Dowell has established a strong presence in the Charlotte arts community, receiving numerous grants, commissions, and “Best Artist” awards. Beginning with a mural a decade ago, she has created public work throughout the greater Charlotte region, including major initiatives for the Charlotte Area Transit System.
